The last 4 minutes entering the Mars you don’t know if you are going to live or die, but in this painting, at least you know you loved. The astronaut with a 3D printed mask, girl dancer and red planet form a juxtaposition for the thoughts as one enters the ‘minutes of terror’ onto the Mars Surface. The Video juxtaposes the 4-minute countdown, footage of a landing simulation, the last text message correspondence and memories of a daughter’s dance recital, in an intense 4 minutes recollecting all that one knows and one loves.
